An assistant that texts from a random number and emails from a generic domain gets ignored and filtered. So this part is set up properly, and properly takes a moment.

If it is not connected, Beverly does not sendWhere there is no connected sender, Beverly does not fall back to sending from somewhere generic under your name. It stops and hands you what it would have sent. Failing loudly beats a month of email quietly landing in spam.
