Text messages

Text is where the lead work happens. Beverly texts from a number tied to your account, and every message is yours to see.

LiveWorking today on every Beverly account.

Almost everything Beverly does with a lead happens over text, because that is what people answer. Email gets read when someone is at a desk. A text gets read in ninety seconds.

  • You start on a shared Beverly number so you can be useful on day one, and move to your own number when it is ready.
  • The whole thread is visible to you at any point, and you can take over mid conversation.
  • Opt out requests are honoured immediately, in the words people actually use, and recorded against the person rather than the thread.
  • Anyone texting HELP gets a proper answer saying what this is, that message rates apply, and how to stop.
  • Where Beverly is reaching out to somebody who did not ask to hear from you, a message identifying the sender and offering the way out follows shortly after the first text.
Getting your own numberCarriers require a business registration before any number can text at volume, and that is a real world wait we cannot shorten. Bringing a number you already own is on the paid plan. This is the one part of getting started that is not instant, and pretending otherwise would make the wait feel worse.
