How it works / Leads

The first reply

A new lead gets a text back in seconds, in your voice, at any hour. This is the part that changes the numbers.

LiveWorking today on every Beverly account.

Speed to lead is not a slogan, it is the whole game, and it is the thing a human being physically cannot do at two in the morning. When a lead lands, Beverly texts them back straight away, as you, and starts a real conversation rather than firing an autoresponder.

  1. The lead arrives. From whichever door you connected. Beverly reads what came with them: the address they asked about, the form they filled in, the words they typed.
  2. Beverly works out what they are. A buyer, a seller, a renter, an expired listing, someone asking about one property. What Beverly says next depends on that, because a renter asking whether a place is still available should not be answered with a pre approval conversation.
  3. Beverly texts them. In your name, from your number, opening on the thing they actually asked about. If they came from a piece of marketing you ran, Beverly opens on the promise that piece made.
  4. The conversation continues. They reply, Beverly replies, and it keeps going. Beverly is qualifying the whole time rather than waiting to hand over.

Two things about timing

  • The first message goes at any hour, including the middle of the night, because that is the one that decides whether you get the lead at all.
  • Replies inside a live conversation are paced at around forty seconds rather than fired back instantly, because a reply that lands in under a second reads like a machine.
You can hold the first messageIf you would rather see the opening text before it goes, switch that on and every new lead's first message waits for your yes. You can answer in the app, where the notification opens the draft itself, by replying to the text Beverly sends you, or on the web. Whichever you use, you see who it is going to and the exact words before you decide. It waits indefinitely rather than sending on a timer.
You are never surprisedEvery message Beverly sends is visible to you, before and after. You can read the whole thread at any time, take it over yourself, and Beverly stands down the moment you do.
Walkthrough
Add a lead, and watch the appointment book

A brand new lead arrives, gets answered by text, and ends up booked, with the calendar invite going to both of you. Running time: 40 seconds.

Walkthrough coming
A lead lands at 11pm and wakes up booked

The whole exchange, real timestamps, with the agent asleep for all of it. Planned length: 2 minutes. We would rather leave the space marked than fill it with something staged, so this is a slot and not a video yet.
