Booking is the point of the whole lead side. Beverly is not trying to have a nice conversation, Beverly is trying to get a real person onto your calendar at a time you can actually make.
You set your hours. Weekly blocks when you take appointments. If you set nothing, Beverly works in broad morning, afternoon and evening windows rather than guessing.
You connect your calendar, if you want. You paste the private feed link your calendar already gives you, and Beverly stops offering times you are busy. It is read only: Beverly can see that you are busy and cannot write anything into your calendar.
Beverly offers real times. Either in the text conversation, or through a booking page on a link that Beverly can send.
Everyone gets the invite and the reminders. A proper calendar invite by email to you and to them, then the run up so the appointment happens and the follow-up so it turns into something.

CancellationsCancelling sends a real calendar cancellation against the original invite, rather than an email saying it is off. Beverly records what the outcome actually was, so a no show does not silently count as a held appointment.
