A lead who says yes to a call gets one. Beverly puts the lead on your phone with the gist, and can ring you first and connect the two of you.
In testingBuilt, and running in our own testing environment. It is switched off for customer accounts, so you cannot use it yet. Built and switched off for every account, including ours. Nothing in this section can make a phone ring today. It is here because it is finished, not because you can use it, and it stays off until we turn calling on deliberately.
The gap between a lead saying they would take a call and somebody actually calling them is where most leads are lost. Beverly closes it two ways, and both of them end with a person deciding.
Beverly asks, and the lead answers. In the middle of a normal text conversation Beverly asks whether it would help if you called in the next hour. A yes only counts when there was a question behind it, so a lead saying yes about a school district never rings anybody.
Your phone lights up. You get the lead's name, what they want in one line, the last three messages and the number to dial, with two buttons. If nobody takes it within three minutes, Beverly writes two specific times to offer them instead and waits for you to approve the words.
Or Beverly rings you first. Beverly calls you, says who is waiting and why in a sentence or two, and asks whether to connect you. On a clear yes Beverly dials the lead and joins the two of you. On anything else, including silence, a voicemail or no answer, you get the two times to offer instead.
Only one person is ever askedBeverly rings one teammate about one lead, never a second one after the first does not answer. Two people being told to call the same person is worse than nobody calling, so the handoff is claimed by whoever takes it first and everybody else is told it is gone.
What has to be true before a lead is dialledEvery check that governs an ordinary Beverly call governs this one: the lead has not asked us to stop, is not on a do not contact list, is not one you marked as never call, has a consent record on file, and it is a reasonable hour where they live. Any one of those failing means Beverly texts rather than dials.
Beverly says what Beverly isOn any call Beverly places, the first thing said is who Beverly is and that Beverly is an assistant, before anything else. Asked directly, the answer is the same. Asked to stop calling, Beverly stops.
